Step 1. Check Whether Your Health Fund Covers This Exercise training sesson

We haven’t yet found a private health extras plan that doesn’t include $250 for an exercise training session—but we can’t guarantee your fund will. To be sure, we recommend checking with your insurer.

If Your Health Fund Isn’t Listed

  1. Go to Google and type:
    “Health Improvement Benefit Approval Form [Your Health Fund Name]”

  2. If nothing appears, visit your insurer’s website or contact them to ask about exercise program claims.

  3. Once you locate the form, it’s a good sign your fund includes this benefit.

  4. You can also call your fund or start a mock claim online to see exactly how much they provide (most are $250, but it’s worth confirming).

Once you’ve completed your free 15-minute phone consultation, you’ll be ready to book your initial assessment.

Your first diagnostic session is designed to pinpoint the root causes of your pain and movement limitations. During this consultation, our specialists will:

Conduct a full gait and posture analysis from multiple angles.

  • Identify muscular imbalances, asymmetries, and dysfunctional movement patterns.

  • Guide you through corrective exercises to immediately start restoring balance and symmetry.

  • Provide an individualised plan for training, myofascial release, and lifestyle adjustments.

  • Explain the next steps for ongoing Functional Patterns training and your long-term goals.

This is not a generic session – every consultation is tailored specifically to your body and condition.

Step 4. Get Your Health Fund Document Signed

Conveniently, one of our practitioners is a registered osteopath so can sign this form for you at the gym otherwise, you can have the form signed by either your physiotherapist or your doctor—whichever is most convenient for you.

Once it’s signed, simply submit your claim and attach the completed form. You’ll receive your rebate while keeping all the valuable knowledge, assessments, and practical insights you’ve gained.
